The AL-TAR staff is here to help you with all of your scientific instrument needs. We understand that every customer has different expectations, therefore we offer a wide variety of services to help meet those need. We offer a wide variety of service plans to meet our your needs. We also perform repairs on a non-contract time and materials basis as well.

AL-TAR offers our clients the choice of 'on site' repair or 'depot' repair. In the event that an instrument requires extensive repairs we can provide you with a loaner unit. Our service team makes every effort to have a field service engineer on-site within 24 hours. Response times may vary according to your location and current service demands. Guaranteed priority response times are available through on of our customized service agreements.

To simplify life for our customers you can now place a service request online! Once your service request is placed you will be contacted within two hours to setup service. If you would like to ship your unit to us for repair then simply fill out the service request, print it out and send it to us along with your unit.

AL-TAR uses only the highest quality tools for repairs and service. Our diagnostic tools are certified annually to traceable NIST Standards.

You can print out an AL-TAR Product Line Card to use as a quick reference for instruments we service. We also have a list of Manufacturers whose equipment we service.

Please contact us for information on our rates. Are you curious about Contract Rates? Parts used for repair will be taxed unless a Certificate of Resale is provided.

Warranty - Service & Parts

AL-TAR provides a thirty (30) day warranty on parts and service. Parts warranty is specifically limited to those replacement parts or components replaced/repaired during the service visit. If a defect in material or workmanship of the part occurs we will replace the part at no cost to you. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. Correction of defects in material or workmanship shall fulfill all liabilities of AL-TAR to the customer resulting from the service performed or parts provided under this agreement. This represents AL-TAR's sole obligation with respect to damages, whether direct or indirect, resulting from the service performed or part(s) provided under this agreement.

Additional Parts Warranty

Any additional manufacturer's warranty will apply on all parts installed.
